Is There a Fee to Use a Payment Integration with Gather?
Gather manages $1B+ in event sales every year and more of our clients are safely securing card information and processing payments in PCI-compliant cloud gateways. For our clients using the online payments feature, Gather collects a transaction fee* in addition to your merchant processor or merchant gateway's credit card processing rates. This fee varies depending on the integration option you choose. See below for more info!
The fee is 0.3% of each transaction processed through Gather for Stripe, and 0.5% of each transaction processed through Gather if you decide to use your existing merchant processor. Below is a breakdown to show how this calculates:
- 30 cents for every $100 processed
- $3 for every $1,000 processed
- $30 for every $10,000 processed
To calculate this on your end, use .003 as the multiplier.
- 50 cents for every $100 processed
- $5 for every $1,000 processed
- $50 for every $10,000 processed
To calculate this on your end, use .005 as the multiplier.
How Will This be Billed?
For those who are set up with the Stripe integration option, the 0.3% will automatically be charged each time a card is processed.
For those set up with an existing merchant processor, the billing contact we have on file for your account will receive a quarterly invoice via email outlining the total payments processed and application fee. If we have a credit card on file for your account, this will be automatically charged.
