How Do I Create a Menu That Doesn't Apply Towards The Minimum?
Sometimes you may have a Menu that does not need to apply towards your Minimum Spend. These are typically non-F&B charges. In Gather, you'll always have the choice as to whether or not selections from a menu apply towards that Minimum!
You can make this choice as you are working on your menu!
1. When creating a new Menu, the Category assigned is how Gather knows what to apply towards the minimum, and what not to apply towards the minimum. By default, the Food & beverage and Liquor Categories will apply towards the minimum spend. This is denoted with 'MIN' listed next to the Category name:
2. If you'd like to create a menu that does not apply towards the minimum, simply choose one of the other Category options that do not have 'MIN' listed next to the name!
Note: By Default, menus added within the Event Summary using the "Add Charge" button will not apply towards the minimum. This can be changed and customized if necessary! Please reach out to us directly if you need help updating the financial settings for your menu categories!
