Why Is It Important to Track Estimates in the Event Summary?
Before the event takes place, you will want to ensure that all event summary information has been entered so your Estimated Totals are reflecting accurately! Good news - If you are sending proposals, this will be accurate as the Event Summary will already include what your guest has electronically approved.
However, if you are not currently sending proposals via Gather, this is an important step that will come in handy when reporting.
How can we see what type of guests are spending more than estimated during events, for example, if we do not know the correct estimated amount? Perhaps we notice that corporate events are consistently ordering more on the actual event date – should we increase our recommended offering for corporate events?
