How Do I Create a Proposal?
With Gather, creating a proposal can be done in minutes! Great news - If you have converted your booking from a lead, most of your basic event details will already be included!
You have the ability to enter valuable event information from the details tab! Include a primary contact for event planning, and an onsite contact for day of coordination. Use event notes to list allergies or to include timelines that your guest will need to see.
Note: If you leave the onsite contact blank, your guest will have the opportunity to enter that information on their end directly in the event portal
The event summary is where all menu information, charges, fees or discounts will be included. Completing the event summary is crucial so all financial and menu information will be visible on the event portal. With the event summary complete, your guest can review the summary of charges before signing.
Gather Tip: Too far out to pick menus? Is everything consumption-based? Feel free to leave this area blank! We still recommend sending a proposal so you have a binding record that your guest agrees to spend a certain amount, your minimum spend, and understands your cancellation policy.
