How Do I Add the Gather Domain to my Safe Sender List?
As a best practice, it is recommended to add the Gather email domain to your list of safe senders to ensure all messages coming through Gather from your clients get delivered directly to your inbox! Since Gather may not be recognized by some of your customers, you may wish to share the steps below to ensure all of your messages also land in their inboxes successfully.
For Gmail:
We recommend creating an inbox filter for @event.gatherhere.io and @gatherhere.io. To do so, follow these quick steps:
- Click on the gear icon on the righthand side of your Gmail screen to navigate to Settings.
- Once in Settings, select the 'Filters and Blocked Addresses' tab along the top.
- Click the 'Create a new filter' hyperlink.
- In the 'From' field enter @event.gatherhere.io and then select 'Create filter with this search' at the bottom of the window.
- On the next page, check the box next to 'Never send it to Spam'
- Click the 'Create filter' button and you're all set!
- Repeat for @gatherhere.io.
For Outlook:
For 2003, 2007 and Express:
- Select Actions from the toolbar at the top of the screen
- Select Junk E-mail.
- Click the Safe Lists drop-down.
- Select "Add Sender's Domain (event.gatherhere.io) to Safe Senders List.
- Click OK.
- Repeat for gatherhere.io
For 2010:
- In Outlook, go to the Home tab.
- Click the Junk button.
- Choose "Junk E-Mail Options" from the drop-down list.
- Go to the Safe Senders tab.
- Type in event.gatherhere.io
- Click OK.
- Repeat for gatherhere.io
For 2013:
- In Outlook, go to the Home tab.
- Click Junk > Junk Email Options.
- Select the Safe Senders Tab and click Add.
- In the Add address or domain box, enter event.gatherhere.io
- Click OK and close the window.
- Repeat for gatherhere.io
