What is the Guest Count (Actual) Field?
When you close out a Booking in Gather, you are able to track the actual guest count! When originally creating a booking, you are given the option to enter an Estimated Guest Count and Guaranteed Guest Count. These numbers may change the day of the event, and you'll want to use the 'Guest Count (Actual)' field to reflect that!
Once the event has ended and you are ready to reconcile your financials, click the 'Closed' booking button in the right-hand corner of the Financials Tab.
From here, a window will appear to enter your actuals for financials, as well as the actual guest count.
Your 'Guest Count (Actual)' can be found in a couple different places, outlined below:
1.) When exporting directly from the Bookings Tab, the Guest Count (Actual) field will appear in column G of your Excel spreadsheet:
2.) Within the Bookings Export Report under your Reports tab. Be sure to pull this column over to the 'Included Columns' section if you would like to view the Actual Guest Count on this report!
