How Can I Segment My Events Business?
Within individual Leads and Bookings, Gather offers the opportunity to include information regarding both the Event Segment and Type. Differentiating between whether the Lead or Booking is a corporate or social event can provide greater visibility into your business trends and your market. The Segment will be selected on your Lead's Details page and will be pulled into your Booking's Details upon conversion. The selection will be visible and can be sorted on the Contacts Page. 1. Navigate to the Details page of a Lead or a Booking.
2. Select whether your event is Social, Corporate, or if it does not belong to one of those categories. The default selection will be "None."
Note: You will also be able to select an Event Type from the list provided. This will help you provide even more specificity in terms of the breakdown of the event.
3. Upon saving, the Primary or Onsite Contact associated with a Booking will be segmented within the "Contacts" page as well.
Both the Event Type and the Segment will be pulled into the Bookings Detailed Report and the Bookings Page export.
