What Does the 'Revoke Proposal' Button Do?
Sometimes you need to make changes to a booking while you are waiting for a client to approve a proposal. Rather than have them accidentally approve an outdated proposal, Gather allows you to revoke this version. This feature lets you make any changes you need while ensuring your client approves the most up-to-date version of their event!
The Revoke feature works after you have requested approval from your client, but have not yet received approval. When this is the case, your booking will look like this:
On your client's end, the portal will look like this:
If you want to revoke the request for approval, all you have to do is select the red 'Revoke' button:
Clicking this will pull up a window to confirm you want to revoke the proposal. Make sure to select 'Revoke Proposal' to submit this change:
You will once again have the green 'Request Approval' button for whenever you are ready to collect a signature from your guest:
If your client clicks on the link in the original approval request email, their portal will no longer offer a place for them to sign and approve:
With this done, you can now make any changes you need to the Event Summary! Once you have finished editing the booking and are ready to send to your client for approval, you select the green 'Request Approval' button:
Like any other booking, this will pull up a Message window to send to your client. Once you hit 'Send', they have access to your updated proposal for their approval!
