How Do I Allow the Guest to Re-approve a Proposal?
So the initial Proposal has been sent to your client, and they have approved it on their end. Now they would like to make a few changes. No problem! With Gather, all your customer has to do is refresh the original Event Portal page to see any changes that you've made on your end (that's right - your changes will be reflected in real-time!).
That said, we know that it can be helpful to have the guest approve & sign off on those changes again. Perhaps you've booked this event a few months in advance & the Financial information is different. No matter the situation, it's great to have the guest re-approve any major change to the Booking!
In Gather, you're able to have the guest "sign off" on every single change -- as many times as necessary!
1. Click the green 'Reopen' button on the right side of the Booking.
2. When clicking the 'Reopen' button, the box below will pop up. Just confirm that you would like to Reopen the Proposal here!
3. Once the Proposal has been officially reopened, your options within the Booking will revert back to 'Request Approval' and 'Send Preview". Clicking the green 'Request Approval' button re-activates the Proposal so that the approval area at the bottom is now back open and ready for your client's approval again.
Note: It's imperative that a Proposal is sent via the green Request Approval button if you'd like the guest to approve it! That button activates the e-signature option that we know and love!
Feel free to repeat this process as many times as you like for a single Booking!
